We hope everyone had a great time and were able to meet new people within our wonderful community. The chili was wonderful and I think the judges had a hard time deciding which to pick. Thank you to all who brought food to share and helped set up and clean up.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We would like to thank the Boy Scouts of troop 956 for helping us set up and help run our booths and Preferred Communities for running the cotton candy machine for us. Also, Bobbi Randall for helping with planning and Amy Griner for taking pictures. We would also like to thank the following vendors Tina with Gold Canyon Candles, Brenda with her beautiful Blankets, Nancy with Word of mouth cookies, our neighbor with pumpkins from his farm in Queen Creek and Aaron with State Farm on Southern &amp;amp; Signal Butte.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We would also like to thank the following companies for the wonderful donations. Lansing when he was approached by two unknown black male suspects. Suspect #1 introduced himself as “K-T” from Chicago and asked the victim where he was from. Suspect #2 pulled out a black and silver handgun, held it in his right hand, and pointed it at the ground as Suspect #1 continued to speak with the victim. Suspect #1 grabbed the victim’s baseball hat and demanded his property. The victim complied and both suspects fled the area on foot.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The victim began to check the area for the suspects and located suspect #1 as he got into the front passenger seat of a black passenger vehicle.  The vehicle was described as a black 90's model Honda or Acura with a spoiler.  A partial AZ license was obtained on the suspect vehicle as possibly "AGE."&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;The suspects are described as the following:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Suspect #1: B/M, 20-25 YO, 6’00”/200 lbs, black hair, LSW blue shirt, introduced himself as “K-T” from Chicago  &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Suspect #2:  B/M, 20-25 YO, 5’08” to 6’00”, black hair, LSW LA Raiders football jersey with number 18&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;i&gt;Please contact Det. Gate Code – Individual Gate Codes – seem to be working fine.  No issues were identified by homeowners or board members.  The vendor code was given to all homeowners in attendance. This code is valid from 5am – 6pm and can be given to vendors (including, but not limited to UPS, FedEx, Repair Services, etc.) &amp;nbsp;Since this is a public blog the code will not be posted on here. &amp;nbsp;Please contact Preferred Communities or a member of the board for the code.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2. Pedestrian Gate on Pueblo was repaired and repainted.   Vandalism has started again once school started.  LeeAnn has contacted the Principal of the School, as the actions of the students waiting at the bus stop are the responsibility of the school.   If the vandalism continues, they will move the bus stop.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3. CC&amp;amp;R / Rules enforcement – discussed the boards interpretation of the CC&amp;amp;Rs (see minutes from July 24th Meeting).    A letter to homeowners will be mailed within the next week to identify the changes.   These items will be included in the normal inspection starting with the 2nd inspection in September. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4. Social Events  &lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;a. Social Event (Fall Festival) – will be held on October 24 in conjunction with GAIN to help bring in the Neighborhood watch into the mix. Garage Sale – November 7th.  &lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;c. Korin to check on prices for 2 signs – want to know if the signs can be printed on both sides – one side “Garage Sale”   the other side “HOA MEETING Tonight”  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;5. Landscaping Bids -  4 bids were provided.   Current landscaper is charging $1905.00 per month.  The other bids were right around that price: Desert Innovations $2000, IDT $1875, JT Landscaping $2100, Great Western - $1930.00.      Dallan motioned to stay with current landscaper.  Motion was seconded by Nate, unanimously approved. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;6. Fire Lane/Fire Hydrant striping-  bids were provided ranging from $157.00- $7200.00 depending on what they want done.   Dallan motioned to table this issue.  Motion seconded by Nate, unanimously passed.    If a section near a fire hydrant or intersection needs to be painted, Nate &amp;amp; Dallan will do the manual labor.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;7. One of our homeowners who parks his truck in the driveway had the spare tire stolen from under the truck – damage was also caused.  It appears this happened  during the night (June 25).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Please keep a look out and call 911 if you see any suspicious activity!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Also, there was another burglary Tuesday (June 30) in the community.  This time the culprits entered a home on El Moro, while there were children upstairs in their bedrooms!     The break in happened between 9-10am.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thank goodness no one was hurt, but they did get away with a laptop.&lt;br /&gt;This was reported by calling 911 and a police report was filed.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Please keep your doors and windows locked at all times.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you’re wondering what can we do to stop the outrageous number of break –ins in our community – it might be time to seriously think about joining the Neighborhood Watch! Drinking water will be available.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sunscreen, chairs and sunshades are highly recommended. The intruders gained access to the home through the back gate, they tried to open the sliding glass doors and when that was unsuccessful they entered through an unlocked window.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Please be vigilant in keeping your doors, windows, garage &lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;and gates&lt;/span&gt; locked. Your bank will NOT notify you of problems with your account by text message or e-mail. The best practice is to refrain from giving personal information over the telephone to unknown solicitors.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you get an e-mail, voice or text message referencing your bank or credit card account do not reply or click on any links provided in the e-mail. Instead contact your bank using the telephone number or website listed on your billing statement.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you have responded to this type of message or if you believe your account information may have been compromised, contact your financial institution immediately. You could be hearing these words if you leave valuables in your vehicle!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Most auto insurance policies do not cover any personal items left in a vehicle that are stolen. Although many people believe they will be covered, they often hear the words above when a vehicle burglary is reported to their insurance company. If you have home owner’s or renter’s insurance, there is a possibility items stolen from your vehicle could be covered, but you will still be responsible for paying the deductible. Keep the garage door closed when not in use.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;When parking anywhere else, keep your doors locked and windows rolled up at all times.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Please remove all valuables from your vehicle. If you can see ANY property left in plain view, so can a thief.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;When out and about during evening hours, park in well lighted areas.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Do not leave the title in your vehicle. With the inception of the Mesa Police Department Alert Network, you can receive emails or text messages on your cell phones to instantly update you about crimes, emergencies and other important information. The biggest benefit of the network is the way it makes two-way communication possible between law enforcement and the public. Anonymous tips via text messages or through the "web" come directly to the police department. This website is a secure website and is currently being used by other police agencies throughout the United States.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What does this mean to you? First of all, it does not mean that you will lose contact with me. I will still be at this email address for any questions and for the basic Neighborhood Watch information. However, it does mean that I will no longer issue emails for crime prevention tips or alerts through this email address. They will all be issued through the new system and for you to receive them you must register. The attached flyer contains the registration information.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Benefits to you:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;You will know what is happening in Mesa or your particular community from anywhere in the United States at any given time, if you chose to be contacted by text message on your cell phone. No personal agendas should be allowed.&lt;br /&gt;Another homeowner suggested that the board talk to community members during activities for the neighborhood.&lt;br /&gt;Several neighbors suggested finding new landscapers.  Landscaper’s contract is due soon.&lt;br /&gt;One homeowner has been bothered by a neighbor with 2 big dogs running around in park with no leashes. Boredom busters are often found at shopping malls, parks, movie theaters, and other public locations. Youth often walk, ride their bikes, take buses and arrive in automobiles. Often, youth who are unsupervised do not use sound judgement or make good decisions as to their conduct. This misconduct often results in criminal behavior such as underage drinking, graffiti, criminal damage (this includes throwing eggs are homes, vehicles, etc.), trespassing, shoplifting and theft, or even more serious crimes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Mesa Police Department would like to offer the following tips to help keep your teen safe and crime free this summer.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Establish boundaries for your teen about when and where they can go in the neighborhood when you’re not there.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Curfew -- in Mesa, it is unlawful for a minor under age 16 to be out between the hours of 10 PM and 5 AM, and for a minor between ages 16 and 18 to be out between the hours of Midnight and 5 AM, unless they are returning from a job or legitimate activity (school, church, etc.)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Arrange to pick up your teen promptly after their event or activity. Waiting allows the teen to get into trouble and loitering is not tolerated at most businesses.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Graffiti and tagging is a CRIME! Encourage your teens to be creative on paper or canvas, rather than walls, fences, signs, vehicles and buildings.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;If your teen is driving, reinforce safe driving skills and to obey the speed limit.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;If your teen is on a bicycle, they need to obey ALL traffic laws (the same as a vehicle) and have a white light on the front of the bicycle and a red light on the rear of the bicycle after dusk.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Many injuries and death occur when teens attempt to cross the street between lights. Direct your teen not to jaywalk. If caught jaywalking, they can be issued a citation.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Encourage your teen to avoid underage drinking. Beer theft from convenience stores is a popular method of obtaining alcohol for parties. This criminal behavior will ultimately be costly in court.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Shoplifting is usually committed after peer pressure from friends. Discuss with your teen that their choice of friends should not include those who encourage criminal behavior or activity.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;The choices your teen makes and their judgment are ultimately your responsibility as the parent or guardian. Please take time to discuss making good choices with your child. Community associations are not like other organizations.  They are much closer to home.  They protect the integrity of our neighborhoods, making decisions that directly affect the quality of our life and the values of our homes, even in today’s troubled market.  They provide homeowners the unique opportunity to influence the character of their communities.  In a word, they represent democracy at its most local level.&lt;br /&gt;As financial struggles begin to affect an ever-widening circle of Arizonans, it is crucial that we see ourselves as members of communities.  If you are unhappy with your board, run for a seat.  If you are too busy, get involved in some other way.  It makes little sense to complain about your association if you do not attend and participate in meetings.  Above all, remember that board members are neighbors, members of your community.  And if you are a board member, remember that you were elected to serve the good of your community.  You must act professionally and always in the best interest of those who elected you. The gates will not be held open due to concerns that the residents will be at a greater risk from thieves and vandals than now.  A dummy camera was discussed as was fixing the call box at the front gate.  Homeowners were also concerned that police officers did not know the gate code.  Security cameras and more lighting will likely be placed at the front gate.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Pedestrian gate repair (back gate) -&lt;/span&gt; Some homeowners talked about making the gate inoperable and simply welding it shut.  The pedestrian gate will be replaced with a stronger gate with stronger hinges and better locks.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Call box repair - &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style=""&gt;T&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style=""&gt;he front call box will not be fixed until the vandals have been caught.  All homeowners present at the meeting were unanimously in agreement.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Trash near mail boxes -&lt;/span&gt;  We will be getting price quotes for a trash bin near the mailboxes.  Please throw away your own garbage.  Take your trash with you until there is a receptacle near the mailboxes for you to use.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Street lamps too dark - &lt;/span&gt;We are looking at having SRP change out the light bulbs in all of the street lamps to help brighten the neighborhood to help deter crime.  Also, we ask all residents to turn on your front lights on your home to brighten the neighborhood.  The more light on our streets throughout the dark hours, the less likely we will be hit with waves of crime in the evening like we have been.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Newsletters -&lt;/span&gt; In an effort to save more money, we will begin e-mailing newsletters to homeowners so please make sure that we have your e-mail address.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Vandalism - &lt;/span&gt;Please keep an eye out for vandalism and vandals.  Let's try to keep our neighborhood clean, beautiful and crime free.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Neighborhood Watch/Crime in the area - &lt;/span&gt;We are STILL seeking volunteers for Neighborhood Watch.  There has been a lot of crime in our neighborhood and we all need to work together to put an end to it.  If you are interested in helping out please contact Preferred Communities.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Social committee/architectural committee - &lt;/span&gt;We are STILL looking for volunteers to help with these committees.  Time spent is extremely minimal.  The social committee is important for our neighborhood.  Our social committee plans neighborhood activities where everyone is welcomed.  These activities are a great way for you to get to know your neighbors.  If you are interested in helping out please contact Preferred Communities.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Annual Meeting -&lt;/span&gt; Punishment for the person committing the crime may also include a fine of up to $1,000.00, loss of driving privileges and criminal restitution. Please talk to your children about the seriousness of this crime. Kids often do not think about the consequences that can follow when they do things like painting graffiti or tagging, or how it affects the person whose property they are damaging. They may not even be aware that it is a crime (criminal damage)!  Please keep all paint locked up. style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0); font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;The perpetrator grabbed a student and tried to force the student into his car.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold; "&gt;DESCRIPTION OF SUSPECT: Hispanic or Asian male in 20’s driving a 4-door white sedan.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt; &lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;This is the third or fourth incident with this same suspect, who has heretofore bold;"&gt;Thank you to everyone who came and participated in last night's meeting.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Business:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Basketball Hoops&lt;/span&gt; - The board has decided that basketball hoops that are usable and in good repair may be left on the driveway or sideyard of your home.  No longer do you have to put it away every evening when not in use.  The hoops MUST BE in good repair to be left out.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Over Seeding &lt;/span&gt;- We discussed whether or not to over seed the grass in the park this fall.  Some homeowners suggested the we have the park grass green in the cooler months and not in the hotter months because the park is not used as much in the summer months.  However, due to the financial situation of the HOA as a result of the recent past and current foreclosures we have decided to not over seed the grass in the park this fall.  It will save the HOA between $5,000 and $10,000 because the extra seed, water, and maintenance would not be necessary.  Homeowners that decide not to over seed their yard will also not receive violation letters.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Park Lights&lt;/span&gt; - The light pole that was going to be installed in the park has been delayed as well as a result of the poor financials from foreclosures.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Playground Cover&lt;/span&gt; - We have received several quotes for a playground cover and as soon as we have the money available, it will be a priority.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Painting of Gates&lt;/span&gt; - The entrance and exit gates will be painted as well as the exterior walls will be repainted.  We are seeking volunteers to help with these projects as they will be big projects.  In order to save money for the HOA, we have decided to buy the paint and supplies and ask for volunteer help in order to get the work finished.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Graffiti&lt;/span&gt; - There have been several areas in the neighborhood that have been vandalized by graffiti and have been taken care of in a timely fashion by volunteers on the Board of Directors.  If you notice vandalism of this kind or vandalism of any kind please contact Preferred Communities so we can get it taken care of right away.  If there has been vandalism of your personal property, contact the Mesa Police.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Code of Conduct&lt;/span&gt; - We are looking at adopting a Member's Code of Conduct for Association Meetings.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Next Meeting Date&lt;/span&gt; - Our next meeting date has been set for Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 6:00 pm.  Typically meetings will be held on the first Thursday of the Quarter; however, in January, the first Thursday is January 1st.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Homeowner Open Forum:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Speed bumps&lt;/span&gt; - The speed bumps are intended to slow drivers down and make it safer for children to play in our neighborhood.  Some homeowners think the speed bumps are not necessary.  The speed bumps were discussed during three different HOA meetings spanning 9 months before finally being approved in the third meeting.  A couple speed bumps are high centering some smaller cars.  One speed bump on Cerise backed up water into a yard when we had a major rain storm.  Some homeowners would like to see the bumps lowered and smoothed out more.  There are several people driving over the sidewalk to avoid the speed bumps.  Several people are also "burning out" as they drive over the speed bumps.  If you have any information regarding violators, please contact Preferred Communities.  Fixable/Changeable issues will be looked into by the Board and the company who installed the speed bumps.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Parking&lt;/span&gt; - Parking is not allowed in the rock areas of our yards.  Parking is allowed in our garages, on our driveways and on the streets without red Fire Lane curbing or near a fire hydrant.  Driveways may be extended with concrete upon approval of Architectural Committee.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Activities&lt;/span&gt; - Our annual Fall Festival will be held in La Fortina Park the evening of Friday, October 31st before the Trick-or-Treating hours.  Volunteers are needed for some activities and booths.  &lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Please check out the blog posting for the Fall Festival for more information.&lt;/span&gt;  Movie in the Park will be held again this year in La Fortina Park the evening of Saturday, November 8th.  Our neighborhood garage sale day will be held on Saturday, November 15th.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Dogs&lt;/span&gt; - Dogs must to be on a leash in any common area of the neighborhood, especially the park when others are present.  Homeowners need to clean up after their pets as well, if your dog defecates in the park, common areas, or a neighbors yard please be courteous and clean up the mess.  There have been several dogs running loose in the neighborhood, please make sure your dog is secured in your home or yard when you are not with them.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Keys&lt;/span&gt; - The keys that were left in the park months ago still have not been claimed.  If you are missing a set of keys please send an e-mail to salcidofam@cox.net.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Gate Code&lt;/span&gt; - Some home owners have not been getting letters or e-mails with the new gate code included.  The new gate code for the each Quarter will be included with your Quarterly HOA Assessment.  The code has been changed for this Quarter, if you have not received your letter or well as personal property has been affected.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Please keep an eye out for any strange activity that you may notice, no matter how big or small.  Get to know our neighbors and know whether or not someone should be at their home.  Notice whether or not things are out of place in their yard or other surrounding areas.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Report any and all suspicious activity to the Mesa Police.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold; "&gt;Call 9-1-1 if it is a life-threatening emergency&lt;/span&gt; or there is a crime in progress.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold; "&gt;Call 644-2211 if it is not a life-threatening emergency&lt;/span&gt;, you need an officer, and to report suspicious activity.  You would also call this number to file a police report, for example, if your car was broken in to or your property has been vandalized.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold; "&gt;Call 644-2324 for general information&lt;/span&gt; or questions about the getting it repaired so quickly!  The gate is still powered down and in the LOCKED position, we hope to have the gate powered up later today after the gate company comes out to run some tests and diagnostics.  We will keep you posted.&lt;div&gt;Both the East/Front gate and the North/Back gate will be painted within the next month.  In order to save money the painting will be done by some of
